Purple Paws for Peace is a California nonprofit dedicated to protecting pets caught in domestic violence situations. We provide emergency shelter, veterinary care, and safe reunification for animals whose families are escaping abuse. By removing the fear of leaving pets behind, we help survivors find safety sooner and rebuild their lives with the animals they love.
We partner with domestic violence agencies and community organizations to respond quickly when families are in crisis. Our work keeps pets out of shelters, supports survivor healing, and strengthens community safety.
